Our team of highly skills planning and operations staff possess many years of experience in safe work planning, possession, isolation planning and critical operational support across some of the biggest projects in the country.

How can we help you?

We are offering Rail Engineering & Track Maintenance Bootcamp courses to Thurrock residents at our East Tilbury site.

During the 10 week course you will:

  • Learn Personal Track Safety: AC and DCCR
  • Receive a Network Rail Standard Medical Examination (including drugs and alcohol test)
  • Take a track induction course
  • Learn manual handling and fire awareness
  • Learn health and safety, and emergency first aid
  • Undertake small plant training (including wrench and robel.

At the end of the course you will achieve:

  • NVQ level 2 or level 3 qualification in rail engineering and track maintenance
  • Sentinel card
  • A guaranteed interview

Eligibility:

Learners must be aged 19+ and must have been 19 on or before 31 August 2024. Learners must be able to commit to 10 weeks of learning, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Documents required:

  1. Right to Work: Passport or Birth Certificate, and a Share code if you do not have a British passport
  2. Proof of Address: Utility bill, official HMRC correspondence, Job Centre letter or any other letter with your address
  3. Proof of National Insurance: Only required if you are using a Birth Certificate as proof of Right to Work.

Enrolment days are held the centre every Wednesday at 10:00am.
