Is there an apprenticeship to suit my business?

There may be.

After you've considered what your organisational training needs are, explore all the current apprenticeship standards on the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education site.

Designed by groups of employers, apprenticeship standards set out the knowledge, skills and behaviours the apprentice needs to be competent in a particular occupation. Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education is responsible for the development and approval of standards and works with employers to ensure a wide range of high-quality apprenticeship standards are available.  You may have also heard of apprenticeship frameworks, these will be withdrawn by 2020.

Apprenticeships are being developed, approved and added all the time, so keep a lookout for new apprenticeships that have been added.  If no existing standard is suitable and you'd like to influence shaping a standard, consider forming a trailblazer group.
